We are tasked with planning, designing, and implementing water supply and sanitation infrastructure projects in underserved communities. This includes the construction and rehabilitation of boreholes, hand pumps, water treatment plants, distribution networks, and sanitation facilities to provide reliable access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation services.
We strive to build the capacity of local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders involved in water and sanitation management. Through training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, we empower individuals and organizations to take ownership of water and sanitation projects, foster sustainable practices, and promote community resilience.
As the regulatory authority for water supply and sanitation services in Edo State, we are responsible for setting standards, regulations, and guidelines to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of water and sanitation infrastructure and services. We monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and enforce measures to safeguard public health and environmental integrity.
