Welcome to the Accomplishments page of the Edo State Small Town and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency. Explore our achievements and success stories in improving water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in small towns and rural areas across Edo State. Our accomplishments reflect our commitment to advancing the well-being and prosperity of all residents through access to clean and sustainable water sources and sanitation facilities.

Rural Water Supply provides potable water to rural communities with a population of less than 5,000 for domestic uses mainly for drinking, cooking, bathing, and hygiene purposes.

Small Town Water Supply system is designed for areas within the city fringes or communities to cater to a population of between 5,000-20,000 with a minimum supply standard of 100 liters per capita per day with limited reticulation and limited house connections as determined by the beneficiaries/Government.

Sanitation intervention is also in place to reduce people’s exposure to diseases by providing a clean environment in public places and encouraging households within communities to construct and use sanitation facilities, which is one of the strategies for ending Open Defecation in the State.
